Aerial Work Platforms
Aerial Work Platforms - There are many attachments for lift trucks that can be utilized to be able to help expand the capabilities of your forklift and allow you to lift objects, handle materials with greater ease or to finish clean-up jobs.
A lot of the accessories are specifically designed to fit on the forks themselves. Fork extensions for instance, are utilized if you require much more blade length, that increases lifting capability. Blade extensions come in lengths varying from 48-120 inches. Rounded or triangular attachments are another variety used when transporting rolled material so as to make sure it does not roll off of the traditional flat blades.

Sweepers have widths as much as 60 inches and this surface area makes clean up simple and fast.
A material spreader is one more forklift accessory that is often utilized at facilities. These spreaders are useful for various applications like spreading fertilizers, insecticides, seeds, ice melt, rock salt and pellets.
Work platforms are another optional lifting accessory which a lot of businesses utilize daily. The platforms range in size from 36" x 36" to up to 60" x 60". There are a few units available that are capable of folding up and storing into a smaller space. Work platforms are designed to raise workers up to an overhead location with the use of the lift truck. Larger platform units have additional space for personnel to be able to bring tools and other essential items intended for the job. Often work platforms are constructed of poly material or steel.
